Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, hold a CPA designation, possess private equity experience, and demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills. Experience with a recurring revenue or SAAS business models would be favorable. The Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a small team of four accounting professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and promote professional development within the team.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and ASC (Accounting Standards Codification).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Strategic Financial Planning:

• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with company goals.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Private Equity Experience:

• Utilize private equity expertise to manage financial activities related to investments, acquisitions, and funding strategies.
• Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is required.
• Proven experience in a Controller or similar role, preferably within the technology or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC, with the ability to apply principles effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in private equity transactions, acquisitions and financial management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary: From $120,000.00 per year
