Slitter Operator

Slitter Machine Operator – York, PA

Pay: $19.50 - $20.50

Shifts:

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• (Training on 1st Shift for 4–8 weeks)

About the Role:

Join a global leader in packaging and labeling solutions. This facility specializes in producing high-quality printed labels for major brands. As a Slitter Operator, you’ll work in the finishing area, ensuring precision and quality before products reach customers.

Responsibilities:

• Operate slitter machines in the finishing area
• Inspect print and quality throughout production
• Remove defective material and splice rolls according to specifications
• Use tools such as rulers, safety knives, and hole punches during splicing
• Handle rolls and palletize finished products
• Identify seam-related defects
• Record and enter data accurately in the company system
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior machine operating experience and basic troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Motivated and reliable individuals with a strong work ethic

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.50/hr.
