Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to handle and transport materials efficiently. The role involves preparing and shipping industry-leading fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ship fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products.
• Pick and pull parts efficiently.
• Load freight into trailers safely.
• Open crates with care.
• Utilize a variety of industrial material handling equipment, including forklifts, scanners, and shrink wrap machines.

• Experience with inventory management.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts.
• Competence in material handling.
• Familiarity with RF scanners.
• Experience in picking, packing, and shipping and receiving.

• 6+ months of forklift experience is preferred.

This role operates on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM (unpaid). Flexibility to stay until work is completed is required, which could extend the shift to 6:30 PM with prior notice. Overtime may be required, generally involving an extended shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Kutztown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
