Post-Quantum Cryptography Engineer

Rate: $60.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and support a cryptographic asset management platform to enable the move to post-quantum cryptography.
• Implement and support cryptography solutions across the enterprise.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to determine cryptography use cases.
• Create architecture, system build documents, procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Respond to requests from users, Internal Audit, and federal regulators regarding PKI.
• Evaluate vendors and perform vendor management for new initiatives.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of experience installing and supporting cryptographic solutions.
• Hands-on experience with HSMs and key management systems.
• Experience automating cryptographic key services.
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and key management.
• Knowledge of secure protocols and certificates.
• Knowledge of quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography.
• Knowledge of automated discovery and inventory of cryptographic assets.
• Familiarity with GDPR, DORA, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or a related field.
• CISSP certification.
