Clinician (CPO / LPO)
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Prosthetist / Orthotist (CPO / LPO) to provide high-quality, patient-centered prosthetic and orthotic care. This role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, designing and fitting custom prosthetic and orthotic devices, and delivering ongoing follow-up care to improve mobility and overall quality of life.
The ideal candidate is committed to ethical clinical practice, strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and delivering exceptional outcomes for patients across diverse age groups and diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans
- Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and clinical staff
- Educate patients and caregivers on device use, maintenance, and care
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to optimize comfort and function
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, insurance requirements, and ethical standards
Requirements
- Licensed Prosthetist / Orthotist in Pennsylvania (LPO required)
- Certification through ABC (American Board for Certification) or BOC (Board of Certification)
- Experience in clinical prosthetics and orthotics preferred
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
