Area Manager - Lehigh Valley
- Develop a strong understanding of the Pennsylvania self-distribution model, including key regulatory differences and product format advantages (e.g., single flavor 24pks vs. single flavor 4pks and 8pk VPs), and leverage this knowledge to convert LID buying accounts to direct distribution.
- Apply strong knowledge of Pennsylvania’s self-distribution model and product formats (e.g., 24pks, 4pks, 8pk VPs) to convert LID buying accounts to direct distribution.
- Maintain and grow the existing book of business within the assigned territory and drive new sales through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
- Conduct sales pitches and presentations to account managers and staff to sell the products in and monitor account performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage and grow existing accounts through regular sales presentations, upselling/cross-selling, and relationship building with bar managers and staff.
- Help manage accounts receivable when needed and ensure timely payments. (Self-Distribution Model)
- Support receivables management and ensure timely payments when needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bar managers, buyers, and staff to provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Educate account staff on product offerings through training sessions, samplings, and seminars.
- Represent Stateside Brands at tastings, events, and promotional activities and promote new products/seasonal offerings to increase brand awareness.
- Lead trainings, samplings, seminars, and promotional events to educate staff and drive brand awareness.
- Ensure effective brand placement/visibility through POS materials and marketing support.
- Utilize CRM systems and adhere to established sales strategies.
- Heavy use of the phone to schedule set meetings and introduce products to new accounts.
- Prospect and set appointments with new accounts through outbound calls and follow-up.
- Stay on top of Trends: read industry blogs, articles, and stay up to date with current topics and competition.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity.
- 3+ years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
- Valid US Driver’s License and willing to travel up to 90% with dependable transportation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 35 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record in building effective relationships with customers and internal associates.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in identifying customer issues, recommending solutions, and executing effectively to ensure resolution.

- Estimated Base Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000 USD.
- Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
- The salary range refers to base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
