ABOUT THE ROLE

A warm and welcoming Mechanicsburg family is seeking a reliable, long-term part-time nanny to care for their energetic 1.5-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development. SCHEDULE & HOURS

Regular Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (pickup from daycare)

Occasional Evening Hours: Extended shifts until 8:00 PM as needed

Occasional Full-Time Days: Full-day coverage when daycare is closed or the child is ill

This is a part-time, long-term position with opportunities for additional hours.

Flexibility is required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick up child from daycare and provide safe, attentive supervision
• Engage child in age-appropriate play, activities, and developmental enrichment
• Prepare light, child-friendly meals and snacks
• Manage child’s laundry
• Tidy nursery, organize toys, and maintain a safe play environment
• Wash dishes and clean up after child-related meals and activities
• Communicate daily updates and any concerns to parents
• Care for one small household dog (Corgi) in a friendly, comfortable manner

HOUSEHOLD

• 1 child: Girl, 18 months
• 1 pet: Corgi (small dog)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Hourly rate: $25–$27/hr, based on experience
• Competitive, guaranteed pay with legal, on-the-books compensation

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of paid professional childcare experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening
