Job Posting: Inventory Systems Administrator at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh
Summary: Join Rivers Casino Pittsburgh as an Inventory Systems Administrator and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory and purchasing systems. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, implementing system enhancements, and collaborating with various departments to streamline processes. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the system administrator for the inventory and purchasing system, overseeing its functionality and performance.
- Establish and maintain a standardized naming convention for the inventory and purchasing system item master.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive SOP manual with training guides for users across all departments.
- Collaborate with users to implement and manage order profiles in all functional areas.
- Work closely with Culinary Production to establish and maintain a recipe system.
- Support Food & Beverage management in implementing and managing menu costing and reporting.
- Act as the primary liaison with the current vendor for the inventory purchasing system.
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct regular comparisons between physical inventory counts and system records, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Perform periodic cycle counts and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Investigate inventory irregularities by verifying source documentation.
- Provide inventory-related information to accounting and purchasing departments, including levels, pricing, and turnover.
- Verify and correct receiving, issuing, and transfer documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control.
- Proficiency in inventory and purchasing system applications, with knowledge of Red Rock being advantageous.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Warehouse Operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays, and travel for training as needed.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
Certifications:
- Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds frequently
