Position Title: Counselor

Counselor Duties/Responsibilities:
- New patient intake and orientation
- Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team to initiate treatment planning
- Conducts individual sessions
- Facilitates groups with patients
- Addresses patient's concerns and helps eliminate possibility of AMA
- Provides Case Management
- Documentation in patient medical record
- Associate’s degree or above in Human Services or related
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred, preferably in a detox and/or residential setting
- Experience conducting group sessions
- Flexibility and willingness are great attributes
- Full Time
- 8:00am-5:30pm
- Must be open to one weekend shift per week
Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
