Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our dance studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, creative setting while keeping things organized behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet students, parents, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phones and responding to emails
- Handle class registrations, scheduling, and student records
- Process payments, invoices, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with performance planning, events, and studio communications
- Maintain studio organization, supplies, and cleanliness of common areas
- Support instructors and management with administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure student safety and adherence to studio policies
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with basic computer programs (e.g., email, spreadsheets, scheduling software)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Interest in dance or performing arts is a plus
