Job Summary

The Warehouse (Mailroom) Associate is responsible for the receipt, sorting, processing, and safe delivery of incoming and outgoing mail and parcels within assigned facilities. This position ensures all mail operations are completed accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines while maintaining up-to-date records and workstations. The role requires extensive walking and movement, frequent handling of mail and parcels, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Description

• Sorts incoming/interoffice mail and parcels for delivery to addresses.
• Processes outgoing parcels, pouch, domestic or international mail.
• Assures that mail is processed in accordance with relevant governing bodies' regulations & guidelines.
• Works safely at all times
• Maintains addresses associated to sorting mail/parcels.
• Assures that workstation is up-to-date and accurate.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and documentation.
• Build, wrap, and prepare pallets for storage or transport.
• Safely operate pallet jacks.
• Move materials and products to designated locations within the facility.
• Lift and move heavy objects that may exceed 50lbs.

Skills Required

• 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving (domestic/international)
• Experience on warehouse docks for loading/unloading
• Mailroom experience is a plus
• Able to lift 50+ LBS
• Computer skills
• Valid Driver’s License required

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Degree or GED

Additional Requirements

• This role requires lots of walking, movement lifting up to 50 lbs
