The Staff Accountant will be a vital member of a small accounting team, responsible for managing key accounting functions to support accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. This role involves working with general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting within adherence to GAAP standards, utilizing ERP systems to maintain financial integrity and assist in job costing processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with GAAP
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Process RMAs and manage purchase orders effectively
- Support job costing and related accounting activities
- Utilize ERP systems for accounting data entry and reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with general ledger management
- Strong financial reporting skills
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
