Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

• 35 hours guaranteed per week (school year)
• Consistent daytime schedule - flexible (11am - 6pm)
• Summer hours increase to 40–50 hours/week

A warm, busy, and professional family in Glenmoore is seeking a reliable, take-charge Family Assistant to help keep their home and daily routines running smoothly.

This is not a traditional nanny role . The primary focus is household support and organization , with childcare as a secondary component.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, taking initiative, and being a steady, supportive presence in a home.

About the Family

• Three children (ages 16, 14, and 9)
• Their youngest has Angelman syndrome and is nonverbal
• She is happy, social, and easy to be around, with some mobility support needs (wheelchair use at times)
• The family is warm, respectful, and values the person they bring into their home

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily flow of the home and keep routines running smoothly
• School pickups and after-school support (homework, snacks, dinner prep)
• Laundry, light tidying, and general household organization
• Help maintain structure and consistency throughout the day
• Assist with transitions and daily routines
• Provide occasional physical support (walking assistance, stairs, etc.)

• Comfortable supporting a child with additional needs

Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a household manager, family assistant, nanny, or similar role
• Some experience supporting special needs children
