As a member of our maintenance leadership team, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our properties while managing a small team of technicians. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise, organization, and proactive approach directly impact the resident experience and the success of our properties.

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate maintenance technicians and vendors to complete work orders, turnovers, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Conduct unit inspections , both pre- and post-move-out, ensuring turnovers are completed on time (~2-week expected turnaround).
- Perform hands-on maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, doors/windows, and minor property upkeep tasks.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of routine inspections.
- Track and document all work in AppFolio and other systems : attach receipts, update work orders, maintain maintenance logs.
- Communicate professionally with residents, contractors, inspectors, and property management staff.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, order materials as needed, and keep equipment organized.
- Support property improvements and coordinate special projects as assigned.

- 75%+ of unit turnovers completed within expected timeline
- 80%+ of maintenance work orders completed on time
- 90%+ of preventive maintenance inspections completed on schedule
- High resident satisfaction through prompt, professional service
- Efficient, organized management of technicians, vendors, and workflow
Requirements
Who You Are
- Experienced: 2+ years in maintenance or a related field, including hands-on technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Leader: Able to supervise and coordinate technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Organized & Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CMMS (AppFolio preferred), documenting tasks, and managing schedules.
- Reliable & Proactive: Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Professional & Calm: Even-tempered with residents and colleagues, strong communication skills, solutions-oriented.
- Licensed & Equipped: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal tools for on-site tasks.
Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

- Ability to travel locally between properties in the Allentown area
- Personal tools required to perform maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with management
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends if urgent issues arise

Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
Competitive base, DOE
Performance Bonus:
Up to 10% annual bonus based on maintenance performance metrics
This is a full-time W-2 position with benefits offered.
Employees are paid biweekly .
Schedule
Typical schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for urgent maintenance issues or property needs.

- Based out of the Allentown office
- Most properties located within the Allentown area
- Combination of field work, maintenance tasks, and operational coordination
