We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Preparing tax filings and reports for businesses and individuals
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Preparing profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Maintaining general ledgers
- Assisting in the preparation of yearly closing statements
- Performing account reconciliations
- Preparing monthly financial statements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to the management team
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting or tax preparation is preferred
- BSc in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Demonstrates an excellent understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Wave Accounting, or similar
- Knowlege working with Microsoft Office Tools
- Exceptional numeric skills
- Good with numbers and calculations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work for long hours if needed
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Maintaining a positive attitude
- Multitasker
- Good organizational skills
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
