Community Manager - Hybrid

CAMCO Property Management
Newtown, PA

Job Description

Job Description

Are you ready to lead, grow, and make a real difference in the communities you serve? CAMCO Management Company, the region's longest-serving and only AAMC-accredited community association management firm, is looking for a talented Portfolio Manager to join our team.

As a Portfolio Manager, you'll be the driving force behind thriving communities, partnering with each Association's Board and bringing the vision, expertise, and steady guidance they need to reach their goals. You'll manage properties with the same care, professionalism, and attention to detail that have defined CAMCO for over 50 years.

You won't do it alone. A dedicated administrative assistant will keep your day-to-day operations running smoothly, and an experienced accounting team will handle the financial details, so you can focus your energy where it matters most: building strong, lasting relationships with your Boards and communities. You'll also have industry-leading technology at your fingertips, from real-time financial reporting to AI-powered resident support, so you can spend less time on busywork and more time being the trusted partner your communities count on.

If you're a natural relationship-builder who thrives on solving problems and helping communities flourish, we'd love to talk.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $70,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between residents, board members, and vendors by fostering effective communication and responding promptly to inquiries and concerns.

  • Coordinate board meetings, maintain community records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and regulations.

  • Manage association finances, including budgeting, assessment collection, financial reporting, and supporting long-term fiscal stability.

  • Oversee maintenance operations by conducting inspections, coordinating vendors and contractors, and ensuring common areas are properly maintained.

  • Enforce community rules and architectural standards consistently while addressing violations and supporting policy development.

  • Resolve resident and board disputes, facilitate community engagement activities, and promote a positive living environment.

  • Ensure legal compliance, maintain emergency preparedness plans, leverage community management technology, and pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, board members, and vendors.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong knowledge of HOA/condominium governing documents, association operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software; experience with community association management platforms preferred.

  • Professional designation such as CMCA, AMS, or PCAM preferred, or willingness to obtain industry certifications as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in community association management, property management, or a related leadership role preferred.
