TargetProcess/Apptio Application Engineer

Our client is a global investments company that provides investment management and investment services to institutions, corporations, and individual investors worldwide. The organization supports clients across the investment lifecycle and offers technology, data management, trading services, and business solutions through its affiliated businesses. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $68.00 to $78.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of Apptio/IBM TargetProcess.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver business-aligned solutions.
• Implement best practices in application development to enhance performance and security.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Support delivery of AI outcomes within the tool and across the broader ecosystem.
• Engage stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions.

Experience Requirements

• Typically 6 to 10 years of related experience.
• Strong expertise in software engineering and application delivery methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
