As a Senior Marketing Lead within PNC's Marketing organization, you will be based in one of the Marketing Hubs listed on the posting. Position Description Join a winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. As the Senior Marketing Lead for New Branch Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy to support PNC’s new branches, including the company’s aggressive $1.5B and 200 branch expansion plan through 2029. The successful candidate will develop a multi-channel strategy to build community awareness, while driving consideration of PNC in newer markets. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders in marketing, distribution, sales and product to deliver an exceptional customer experience. What You’ll Do- Lead New Branch Marketing strategy to build awareness of PNC in new communities and increase consideration among prospective customers. This may include promotional cash offers, branch merchandising, direct mail, outdoor advertising, digital and radio.
- Manage the test and learn agenda to drive innovation, improve performance, and gain data and insights to optimize the marketing approach.
- Measure past campaign performance/core KPIs and leverage data insights and competitive trends to create an interconnected strategy.
- Lead and oversee New Branch marketing design and execution by collaborating with agency partners, marketing colleagues, sales and distribution.
- Drive a customer focused culture, leveraging broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge and using best-in-class, customer first strategies.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Demonstrated track record in designing customer-centric marketing.
- A curious and analytical mindset with experience in applying data-driven marketing into highly effective decision making to drive competitive advantage.
- Passion for thinking differently and exploring new ideas to bring to life meaningful personalization in unique and disruptive ways.
- A self-starter with proven skill in leading and working across multiple and distinct functional organizations in support of specific business priorities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to leverage large data sets to make data-driven decisions, with a focus on test-and-learn.
- Understanding of customer behavior research, metrics, and trends, to partner with Research team on customer segment studies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to glean insights from data and develop a compelling story to influence outcomes with senior and executive leadership.
- 8+ years’ consumer marketing experience, including marketing strategy.
- Champion for change and energized by a challenge.
- Advocate for and act as the voice of the customer.
- Leads the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel strategic marketing plans for one or more products/initiatives/channels. Formulates plans that acquire, grow, and retain customers in support of the product life cycle and line of business goals and objectives.
- Supports the team in development and prioritization of business and marketing objectives, development of value propositions and target segments leveraging competitive intelligence and insights to drive growth strategies. Contributes to thought leadership and builds consensus among partners. Adapts to and optimizes for a changing business environment.
- Translates desired business outcomes into marketing strategy and executes complex, integrated marketing programs/initiatives that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications.
- Serves the team as a leader and influences complex multi-functional program teams. Ensures data collected is synthesized and leveraged effectively to provide appropriate business intelligence.
- Influences the budget while ensuring all operating activities are optimized and delivered within the established budget framework.
- Implements and oversees activities including coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners. Leads partnership with agencies, third parties and internal business partners to coordinate development and execution of programs/initiatives.
- Acts as a point of contact with product and digital teams to coordinate strategy and development. Makes decisions to ensure the business programs/initiatives and customer expectations are being met.
- Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
