Hanco is currently hiring both experienced and apprentice mechanics. On the job training is conducted at our facility and at full pay.

Job Description

Industrial mechanic / Mechanic apprentice.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Disassembly of industrial gearboxes and equipment
• Visual and dimensional inspection to determine status of components
• Generate reports detailing inspection findings
• Assembly and testing of reconditioned equipment
• Experience with disassembly and reassembly of any type of equipment a must

Skills and Qualifications

• Proper use of micrometers, dial indicators, and similar measuring instruments to .001
• Work with hand and power tools
• Safe rigging and use of overhead cranes
• Proper use of torches to remove interference fitted components
• Operation of pullers, presses and disassembly equipment
• General mechanics knowledge
• Familiarity with an industrial shop environment
• Forklift operations
• Adhere to company safe work policies

Job Type : Full-time - Regular work hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F

Optional daily overtime is available: 6am - 4:30pm

• Lawrence, PA 15055: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

Mechanic: 1 year minimum

Quarterly and Job Specific bonuses available. Overtime available and optional.
