Restaurant & Bed and Breakfast Manager

The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Restaurant and Bed and Breakfast Manager to lead daily operations across both our fine-dining restaurant and intimate overnight accommodations of up to 16 luxury suites. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who values exceptional service, thoughtful guest experiences, and creating a welcoming environment that inspires repeat visits.

Schedule

• Afternoon & Evenings, Wednesday through Sunday
• Hours vary based on operational needs of the restaurant and inn

Key Responsibilities

Inn & Guest Accommodations

• Manage and/or oversee all aspects of overnight guest experiences, including:
• Room readiness and presentation
• Guest check-in and check-out
• Special requests and personalized touches
• Ongoing guest communication and problem-solving
• Ensure every guest interaction feels intentional, warm, and memorable

Restaurant & Front-of-House Operations

• Manage and/or oversee the restaurant reservation system
• Welcome guests for dinner and/or cocktails
• Provide front-of-house leadership for the dining room
• Maintain a calm, polished, and inviting presence during service
• Foster an environment that encourages repeat customers and strong guest relationships

Leadership & Administration

• Lead, schedule, and support front-of-house and inn staff
• Create staff schedules and manage reporting staff
• Utilize computer systems for reservations, scheduling, and basic reporting
• Set service standards and lead by example on the floor

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of fine dining hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership skills with a team-first mindset
• Passion for going above and beyond to accommodate guests
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-driven
• Comfortable with computer systems, scheduling, and operational tools
• Able to balance professionalism with warmth and approachability
