ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER — RESTAURANT &NIGHTLIFE CONCEPT Upscale Entertainment Venue

One of Philadelphia's most high-profile new upscale lounge & nightlife concepts is opening this month and we need the operator to run it.

This is a premier rooftop lounge and late-night entertainment venue — elevated cocktail program, bottle service, DJ-driven nightlife, VIP clientele, and a younger upscale demographic that expects the experience to be dialed in from the moment they walk through the door. The concept is attached to one of the largest entertainment destinations in the region, with a packed event calendar running straight through the summer and beyond.

Grand opening is weeks away. They need someone who can hit the ground running — not learn on the job.

The Role:

You're the right hand to the GM. You own the floor, the team, the guest experience, and the nightly operation. Days look different from nights here and you need to manage both — daytime social programming transitions into late-night club energy, and your team has to execute at a high level across all of it. VIP sections, private events, concert-adjacent hospitality, bottle service — this is the full picture, every week.

Who fits:

You're currently in an AGM or senior management role at an upscale rooftop lounge, nightlife venue, live music concept, or elevated club. You've built and managed bottle service programs. You know how to cultivate a younger, trend-forward crowd and keep the energy where it needs to be without losing control of the room. You lead from the front and your team knows it.

Non-negotiables:

• 3+ years managing upscale nightlife, rooftop, live music, or elevated club operations
• Active bottle service and VIP program management experience
• Strong F&B fundamentals — labor, pour cost, controls
• Late-night crowd and team management — this is a core part of the job
• Currently working in a comparable concept — no exceptions

Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 base + performance bonus
