Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to join our team. In this dual role, you will handle inbound calls, assist customers with orders, schedule deliveries, and dispatch drivers efficiently to meet daily service needs. You’ll be a key part of ensuring our customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service every time.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and text promptly and professionally.



• Process fuel delivery orders and coordinate routes for delivery drivers.



• Monitor delivery schedules, driver activity, and fuel levels where applicable.



• Maintain accurate customer and delivery records.



• Communicate effectively between customers, drivers, and management.



• Provide friendly, solutions-oriented service to resolve customer concerns.



• Assist with billing inquiries, payments, and account updates.



• Support general office duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, or logistics (preferred but not required).



• Strong communication and organizational skills.



• Comfortable using computers and basic software (Cargas or a similar logistics or fuel routing systems a BIG plus).



• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.



• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.



• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday (Full-time hours)



• Occasional seasonal overtime during peak delivery periods

• Part time summer schedule or layoff in summer. Perfect for a mom to enjoy summer with her kids!

About us

Scrap metal recycling company located in Stockertown, PA. ♻️ We purchase ALL grades of scrap metals to be reprocessed in our yard and then resold / repurposed to steel mills/foundries all around the globe. We also own and operate our own fleet of trucks, trailers and roll-off dumpster trucks to help your business/job site move your scrap metal safely back to our yard for processing.
