• Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
• Location: Du Bois, Pennsylvania 15801
• Healthcare Setting: IMCU – Telemetry Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract (locum tenens)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025, End: 1/19/2026)
• Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days: 7:30am–7:30pm; Nights: 7:00pm–7:00am), 3 shifts/week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5; Nights: 1:6
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960

Telemetry RN Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania or compact Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline registration upon contract signing
• Lab work required within 72 hours of signing contract
• No local candidates (must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Du Bois, PA)

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for patient safety
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (no titration)
• Perform IVs, central lines, PICC lines, and surgical drain management
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy)
• Utilize Cerner for electronic documentation and charting
• Float to other hospital units as needed
• Participate in weekend and rotating shifts
