Locum, Nurse Practitioner - Surgery Vascular
Role Overview:
- Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Start Date: June 1 (Ongoing contract)
- Schedule: Every other week, Wednesdays only (10-hour shifts)
Clinical Environment & Workload:
- Setting: Hospital-based (includes both clinic and hospital rounds/consults)
- Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day, including 2 consults
- Patient Population: Adults (18+)
- Facility Details: 150-bed hospital; non-trauma environment
- Common Procedures: Bypass surgeries and amputations
- EMR: EPIC
Requirements:
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) license and DEA registration.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in vascular surgery (prior surgical experience is preferred but not mandatory).
Administrative Details:
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days (temporary privileges available for candidates with a clean file)
