Travel Registered Nurse LTAC Job
Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) for travel assignments . This role involves providing specialized care to patients who require extended hospital stays due to serious medical conditions, chronic illnesses, or post-surgical recovery. The ideal candidate is skilled in critical care, compassionate, and able to work in a high-acuity setting .
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions .
- Monitor and assess vital signs, ventilators, wound care, and IV therapy .
- Administer medications, blood transfusions, and specialized treatments .
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and rehabilitation specialists .
- Provide tracheostomy and ventilator management when required.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and long-term care needs .
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow hospital protocols .
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines .
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in an LTAC, ICU, or critical care setting .
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in critical care, telemetry, and ventilator management .
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift patients, work long shifts, and manage high-stress environments .
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
