Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid: In-office Tuesday–Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday)

Salary Range: $120,000 – $145,000/year

What We Are Looking For
  • The Right Mix: Proven experience as an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accounting Supervisor.

  • Industry Edge: Strong investment accounting experience is highly preferred and will serve as a major differentiator.

  • Collaborative Communicator: Ability to partner effectively across various finance sub-functions and communicate technical details to diverse stakeholders.

  • Location: Must be able to commute to the Malvern, PA office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Financial Leadership: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and robust internal controls.

  • System & Process Transformation: Champion process modernization efforts; lead and support the finance team through critical system implementations and technological upgrades.

  • FP&A Partnership: Work closely with a mature Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function to align accounting data with strategic business insights and forecasting.

  • Investment Accounting: Manage complex investment accounting portfolios, serving as the subject matter expert within the broader finance team.

  • Tech Adoption: Act as an early adopter of emerging technologies, exploring and integrating AI tools to streamline traditional accounting workflows.
