Accounting Support - Sage Intacct

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to assist their growing team during a system transition. This is a fully remote, temporary assignment focused on streamlining Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes within Sage Intacct. You will join a small, collaborative team to ensure financial data is processed accurately during a critical 3–4 month period. Please note that while this position is fully remote, it is required that candidates live on East Coast (EST) time zone. Those not in EST will not be considered

salary: $26 - $35 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume data entry for both AP and AR functions.
• Assist with revenue and expense recognition tasks.
• Utilize Sage Intacct to set up contracts for income recognition.
• Manage prepaid asset accounts to ensure expenses are realized in the correct periods.
• Support the transition of workflows across the accounting department.

Requirements

• Mandatory: Previous professional experience using Sage Intacct .
• A solid understanding of the "whys" behind AP/AR—specifically revenue/expense recognition and prepaid assets.
• Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding after initial training.
• Comfortable working in an East Coast (EST) time zone.
• Previous experience transitioning from QuickBooks to Sage is a plus, though not required.
