Host
We’re seeking a professional, experienced Host to join our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who understands flow, pacing, and guest experience in a small, walk-in–only restaurant and can confidently run the door solo.
Pay:
Hourly rate based on experience
Required Availability:
Friday nights through Sunday mornings
Greet and seat guests with confidence, warmth, and professionalism
Manage a waitlist independently in a walk-in–only environment
Rotate servers fairly while maintaining proper pacing and table flow
Navigate high-volume service in a small, fast-moving space
Perform regular bathroom checks to ensure cleanliness and presentation
Communicate clearly with servers and management during service
Maintain control of the door during peak rushes
Previous restaurant hosting experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working solo and making real-time decisions
Highly organized with strong situational awareness
Calm, polished, and guest-focused under pressure
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Able to multitask and stay efficient during busy shifts
