What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter prohibited activities and provide assistance to staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist medical staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general information while maintaining professionalism and a helpful attitude.
• Support emergency response efforts by coordinating with on-site personnel and following established procedures during incidents or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
• Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue environments.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in hospital settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
