We are seeking applicants to join our sales team at our Chambersburg location. A variety of shifts and schedules are available!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Excellent personal hygiene habits
• Able to speak clearly with good tone and volume, especially on the telephone, required
• Must have neat and legible handwriting.
• Must have basic math skills to calculate prices from price lists, discounts, and multiple items.
• Must be able to read and understand policies and apply them to circumstances at hand.
• Able to type at least 15 wpm.
• Able to handle irate customers.
• 1 yr. related experience with silk/dried and giftware products preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to complete sales training and satisfactorily complete sales evaluations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily contact with customers in the shop and on the telephone.
• During contact with customers, questioning and suggesting appropriate floral/gift products
• Entering flower orders and purchases into the computer
• Wrapping and packaging floral products for customers
• Housekeeping - keeping shelves clean, dusting, sweeping floors, and cleaning other areas when required.
• Preparing displays with whatever cleaning, trimming, foiling and pricing required.
• Assisting with display set-up and floral presentations
• Other duties as assigned.
