Lititz – Full-Time Social Media Coordinator

As a Social Media Coordinator at Luthercare, you will play an important role in our organization’s marketing practices, helping us engage current and prospective residents, families, team members, and the community. Our team members provide caring support to older adults and children at senior living communities and childcare and early learning centers across Lancaster County. You will be part of a team of dedicated professionals who want to provide the best customer service and care to the residents, children, and families we serve.

We’re currently seeking a full-time exempt level Social Media Coordinator who would be based at the Luther Acres senior living community in Lititz, PA. The position may require some travel to our other campuses as well as events.

WHAT YOU DO:

As a Social media Coordinator at Luthercare, your creativity and innovation in managing and growing the organization’s social media presence, assisting with website content updates, and supporting digital storytelling across platforms. You will do this by performing a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:

1. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Luthercare’s and Luthercare for Kids’ social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others as appropriate).
2. Monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with audiences to build community.
3. Collaborate with internal departments to gather stories, photos, and updates to highlight daily life across Luthercare’s communities and programs.
4. Assist with website updates, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards.
5. Actively track and respond to customer reviews on Google platforms in a timely and professional manner.
6. Support marketing campaigns, digital ads, and email newsletters by creating and posting complementary social media content.
7. Capture and curate photography and short video clips to support brand storytelling across platforms.
8. Track performance metrics, create simple reports, and recommend improvements to increase engagement and reach.
9. Maintain the brand’s voice, visual consistency, and alignment with Luthercare’s mission.
10. Provide administrative and creative support for photography, video projects, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
11. Adheres to all Luthercare standards, applicable federal/state regulations and follows general safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
2. 1–2 years of experience managing social media for a business or organization.
3. Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or related tools).
5. Photography and basic video editing skills preferred.
6. Experience with platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, and website CMS (WordPress or similar).
7. Basic understanding of SEO and analytics tools is a plus.
8. Highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES/EDUCATION:

1. Demonstrated ability to maintain a therapeutic attitude toward and effective relationship with the physically ill or infirm residents.
