Our client is a world leader in property loss control engineering and provides commercial and industrial property insurance and risk management services across the Americas, Europe, and the Asia/Pacific region. The organization delivers all-risk, business interruption, and specialized products for cargo, construction, machinery equipment, and cyber resilience, supported by engineering, research, and consulting services.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $75.00 to $85.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality, scalable, and secure front-end and full-stack code.

  • Contribute approximately 90% hands-on development and 10% technical leadership.

  • Review React and full-stack code and enforce best practices.

  • Own code quality, performance, and security vulnerability mitigation.

  • Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback during code reviews.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering on enhancements to underwriting systems.

  • Participate in design discussions and technical decision-making.

Experience Requirements:

  • Strong experience with React.

  • Proficiency in CSS.

  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.

  • Experience with GraphQL.

  • Strong C#/.NET full-stack development experience.

  • Azure DevOps (preferred).

  • PostgreSQL (preferred).

  • SQL Server (preferred).

  • Kafka (preferred).

  • Helm Charts (preferred).

  • GitHub Copilot (preferred).

  • Playwright testing (preferred).

  • Prior technical leadership or Dev Lead experience (preferred).
