Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by greeting, assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Assist in all customer on-boarding activities.
- Process payment transactions and update customer records consistent with Company policy.
- Assist in directing & implementing sales processes and other activities as needed to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
- Manage, update, and maintain the store’s showroom appearance ensuring product placement, pricing, cleanliness, and related tasks are completed on-time.
- Manage and update the store’s CRM system for maximum efficiency and success.
- Perform general maintenance for the store, and product, as well as various marketing, sales and customer service functions.
- Assist in product delivery, return and service of merchandise.
- Assist in overseeing cash control functions and maintaining operating records and information.
- Perform various administrative functions for customer sales & service activities.
Hours:
Ability to work a standard 5-day, 40-hour work week on a consistent basis. Scheduled hours include Mondays through Saturdays from 9:00AM through 7:00PM. Individual schedules will vary based on business demands. Stores are closed on Sundays.
Requirements:- Education - High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience –One (1) year of work experience in retail or an organization performing customer service, retail sales, and other sales related duties.
- Training – Completion of New Hire Orientation, completion of all required internal training.
- Special Requirements – The passing of a successful pre-employment drug test and background review may be required for this position. Blue Ocean has declared its stores to be a smoke-free and drug-free workplace. Random drug testing may be instituted.
- Lifting – Ability to independently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds and safely maneuver heavier merchandise on the showroom floor using a dolly, other safety equipment or with assistance, without causing injury or damage.
- Data Entry – The ability to enter data in a computer.
