Position Description Sr. Director, EITC
This is a business development role that will plan, organize and execute strategies and tactics to maximize the PA Educational Improvement Income Tax Credit (EITC) program for businesses and individuals.

The Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program allows businesses and individuals to receive tax credits for contributions to the school of their choice. Businesses and individuals can donate up to the amount of their current-year state tax liability and receive a tax credit for the same tax year, with all EITC donations going directly educational (school) improvements.

Work Experience and/or Education Required
5-plus years of work experience in business development, fundraising, sales.

Skills Required

• Entrepreneurial perspective.
• Deep understanding of the EITC funding structure.
• Ability to connect and build trust with high-net worth donors and prospects
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide technical guidance to EITC donors.
• Understanding of and commitment to the mission, vision, and goals of United Way.

Work Location
This position is based in person at the UWGLV office in Allentown, PA for at least 60% of the work schedule. In person meetings at various locations in Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon counties are frequent.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute on a business development strategy around EITC.
• Renew and grow existing EITC contracts and designations.
• Consolidates business and individual (SPE) programs into single shop
• Generate new EITC revenue through individual solicitations.
• Execution of all operational pieces, ensures compliance with all state and finance regulations
• Coordinate efforts of staff soliciting EITC revenue.
• Main point of contact with DCED.

Requirements
5 or more years of professional work experience in business development, fundraising or sales.
Happy to work in person at our office in Allentown, PA
Knowledge in: Understanding of Educational Improvement Tax Credit Funding Structure
