Territory Sales Representative - Manufacturer Commercial Venting Systems - Base Salary to 125k/year - Philadelphia, PA
- Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-performance commercial venting solutions for boilers, water heaters, and industrial HVAC systems. Engineered for safety, efficiency, and reliability, our products support a broad customer base across North America and are trusted in demanding commercial and industrial environments.
- They are looking for a Territory Sales Representative to drive national revenue growth through a strategic, multi-channel sales approach across the Continental United States. This role extends beyond project specifications to actively develop, manage, and expand sales through mechanical contractors, wholesale distributors, and independent manufacturer representatives. The Territory Sales Representative plays a critical role in increasing market share by ensuring products are specified, stocked, and sold wherever commercial mechanical equipment is purchased.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, onboard, and develop new regional distributors
- Manage existing distributor relationships to ensure strong product visibility and stocking levels nationwide
- Build direct relationships with major mechanical and HVAC contractors
- Convert project opportunities into sales while providing technical and installation support
- Train, motivate, and manage independent representative firms across the Continental U.S.
- Drive prioritization of our venting product lines within assigned territories
- Own the full sales funnel from lead generation through purchase order
- Pursue opportunities in both new construction and retrofit markets
- Prepare accurate quotations and competitive bid packages
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to secure volume-based agreements
- Utilize ConstructConnect Insight and CRM platforms to identify untapped regions and verticals, including healthcare, data centers, and industrial facilities
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales experience within the HVAC, boiler, or commercial mechanical industry
- Demonstrated success managing wholesale distribution and contractor-direct sales models
- Working knowledge of commercial venting requirements for high-efficiency boilers and water heaters
- Ability to read blueprints and recommend equipment based on project specifications
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to manage a complex national pipeline
- Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% across the Continental U.S. for client visits, training, and trade shows
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 100k - 125k/year range
- Performance-based bonus structure with expected earnings of 20k – 40k+ annually
