Certified School Nurse - RN

SUMMARY:

• The daily rate for a PA Certified School Nurse (RN) is $250 per day
• Location: Susquenita Elementary School
• Duration: Long term substitue from 12/2/25 - 1/31/26
• Ability to remain per diem to sub in Susquenita School District

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing student health records, providing direct care for injuries, and illnesses.
• Performing mandated health screenings, and developing health plans for students with special needs.
• Health education for students and staff, administering medications as prescribed.
• Collaborating with parents, teachers, and community resources to ensure students' health needs are met for optimal learning.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined by Susquenita School District.
• Participate in all mandatory staff meetings.

Requirements

CREDENTIALING :

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Education FBI Clearance
• Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
• Valid PA License as a Registered Nurse / RN
• PA certification as a school nurse
• Professional Liability Insurance ($1-3 million coverage)

• The Certified School Nurse is an independent contract (1099) position. No benefits are associated with this role.
