Your Role:

As the Director of Nursing (DON) at Embassy of Huntingdon Park, you will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. You’ll lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and nursing assistants, collaborate with other departments, and ensure the facility complies with all regulatory requirements. Your leadership will be key in enhancing both the quality of care and the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the nursing staff to ensure excellent care is provided at all times
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans and programs
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
• Manage nursing staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Address resident and family concerns and ensure effective communication
• Monitor and assess resident outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans
• Foster a positive, professional, and compassionate work environment
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and comfort are maintained at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role in a skilled nursing facility
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, best practices, and nursing standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
