You will perform routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential checks, and/or entry point monitoring for a busy distribution location.
• Monitor the arrival and departure of employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, helping to confirm authorized access to buildings, gates, yards, and/or restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation related to access activity, visitor management, vehicle entry, and other security-related events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, support access control operations, and follow site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
