JOB SUMMARY
In this position, the Executive Assistant to the principal provides support to the principal in a wide range of office and school operations; coordinates and organizes office activities, the principal's calendar, and flow of communications and information for the principal. The qualified applicant will set an example as a continuous, open-minded learner, devoted to promoting the values of the school.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Requires a full range of skills in the operation of computers, compiling and producing correspondence, reports, records, file keeping, etc.
- Receive calls, check e-mails, make appointments, and schedule meetings for the principal as directed.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of staff attendance reports and profesional development relating to the responsibilities of the principal.
- Coordination of school's special activities for students, staff and family engagement.
- Ability to use PowerSchool, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and other database software to perform work assignments.
- Responsible for handling items of a confidential nature.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Associate Business/School degree with (2) or more year's of experience.
- Five (5) or more year's of post high school secretarial experience (preferred).
- Must have or the ability to obtain all clearances (FBI, State, & Child Abuse).
