Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team . This person will perform food preparation tasks, fill grill orders and assist the Head Chef. Primary responsibilities include meat cutting, ingredient marinating and chopping vegetables. The right candidate will keep their workstation clean, well-stocked and ensure all health code and safety regulations are followed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Food preparation including cleaning and cutting ingredients, cooking grill orders, entrees and appetizers.
- Plate prepared foods following Head Chef's instructions.
- Package on-line takeout orders according to restaurant standards.
- Follow daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.
- Perform duties as directed by the Head Chef.
- Ensure kitchen operation procedures meet food safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Prior Line Cook experience preferred.
- Candidate must be able to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position including standing for extended periods.
