Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology
Description
As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretations of radiological images, contributing to patient care and outcomes. This position is ideal for those looking to enhance their clinical skills while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiological examinations and procedures
- Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
- Stay current with advancements in radiology practices and technologies
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff as needed
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Radiology
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting
- Proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Active medical license in the state of Pennsylvania
Flexible Scheduling: 7:30a-5p, 8a-5p, or 12p-10p

Radiology EMR: GE RIS
PACS: Fuji Synapse
Workstations provided for remote coverage
ABR board-certification required
