• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room – Neuro, Trauma, Ortho, Robotics
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
• On-Call Requirements: 12-14 calls per 6-week matrix; 1-2 nights/week; every 3rd weekend; 30-minute response time
• Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend; 6-8 weekend shifts per contract
• Holiday Coverage: As needed
• Vaccination: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Facility Policy: Tobacco and fragrance free
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,040 - $2,090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania; no license hits
• Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience (neuro, trauma, ortho, robotics)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to work independently in neurosurgery
• Experience in Trauma Level II facilities required; Level I preferred
• Competence in caring for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• First-time travel nurses not accepted
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative care for neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotic surgical cases
• Respond promptly to on-call needs within 30 minutes, including nights and weekends
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy)
• Maintain strict infection control and safety standards
• Utilize EPIC for accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Demonstrate expertise in craniotomy, spinal fusion, trauma response, and wound management procedures
• Support a patient-centered environment for all age groups
• Comply with hospital policies, including tobacco and fragrance free requirements
