**Company :** Allegheny Health Network **Job Description :** **GENERAL OVERVIEW:** Supervision of the Vascular Laboratory technologists to assure compliance with IAC standards. Responsible for IAC accreditation for the Vascular Laboratory. Travel to the various locations covered by the vascular laboratory accreditation. Responsible for quality assurance program and assists with provision of CME activities for the department. Department scheduling at all locations and coordination of reading activities for the interpreting physicians. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Supervise testing at AGH and all satellite offices covered by accreditation. (30%) + Assists department manager with managing productivity, scheduling, protocol development, billing, and workload distribution. (30%) + Maintains department records and prepares accreditation documentation. (10%) + Maintains department quality assurance program, adjusts policies and procedures to reflect new IAC requirements. (10%) + Assists with departmental human resource activities, education, and annual competency evaluations for staff. (10%) + Serves as department timekeeper, coordinates vacation schedules, assists with new location development. (10%) + Other duties as assigned or required. **QUALIFICATIONS:** Minimum + Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography + 5 years in a Registered Vascular Technologist and/or Registered Vascular Sonographer role + Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) + CPR - American Heart Association + Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate + Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate + Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate **_Disclaimer:_** _The job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this job title.
