Here is how the Facilities Engineer role will impact our business:

The Facilities Engineer I/II/III/IV is responsible for providing technical guidance and focus while working hand in hand with EQT Team Members and External Business Partners. This position will work closely with our water infrastructure department to drive operational success through technical excellence in engineering designs, processes, and procedures. This position will provide the opportunity of growth and development through mentorship provided by the experience of a diverse engineering department.

The Facilities Engineer I/II/III/IV responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical expertise in all phases of mechanical design.
• Responsible for the overall engineering design / planning / execution / cost management / project closeout for all projects related to central water facilities (CWFs), booster stations and water system upgrades.
• Responsible for the overall engineering design and evolution of our equipment used for water transfer on all CWFs and Boster Station locations.
• Work with water operations and water infrastructure pipeline engineers on the development / evolution of all standards / specifications / guiding documentation leveraged by the water infrastructure facility engineering team.
• Work with engineering team members and water operations on the development of a maintenance program for improving operational reliability and asset integrity of CWFs and Booster Station Equipment.
• Responsible for optimization of the existing CWF and Booster Station Equipment in order to meet the forecasted water needs of the production / completions / water operations team while minimizing costs.
• Field coordination with water operations and completions department for up and coming / in-flight completions operations.
• Work directly with water infrastructure pipeline engineers on water system optimization allowing for optimal water transfer off producing pads / water transfer sites for water delivery.
• Develop a preventative maintenance program that is manageable / sustainable / effective driving assurance of pre-determined pump rates with targeted downtime.
• Work with water operations, production operations and engineering team members on flow assurance and keeping pipelines condensate / debris free.
• Develop and manage all project milestones in order to provide clear and transparent timelines for associate projects.
• Manage all water operations capital and maintenance capital budgets associated with CWF / Booster Station projects.
• Support Operations personnel with training on the use and maintenance of equipment/facilities.
• Establish and maintain a sole philosophy of design that meets or exceeds all applicable governmental and industry codes and specifications.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Petroleum / Chemical).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Understanding of Process Flow & Equipment Used For Separation of Fluids On Common Oil and Gas Production Wells.
• Understanding of ASME, ANSI, API, ISA, NACE Specs and Standards.
• Understanding of Thermodynamics & Fluid Dynamics.
• Communication and presentation skills.
• Extreme ownership mentality.
• Able to take complex workflows/ideas and communicate them concisely to achieve results.
• Self-Starter and team player.
• Able to work independently as needed.
• Ability to travel 15-20% of the time.
• Ability to work flexible work hours inclusive of weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in the oil and gas industry w/ familiarization of water operations.
• Equipment design/manufacturing or oil field facility construction.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience to Include Vizio.

Work Location:

The job is hybrid, meaning it combines field work, remote work, and office work in the Pittsburgh, PA, area.

Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
