THE POSITION

The Bureau of Enterprise Recruitment is seeking a friendly, detail oriented, and customer service driven individual to complete our team of professionals. As an Administration and Management Trainee, you will complete a 12-month specialized training program that will enable you to develop recruitment strategies to bring top talent to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a Trainee, we will teach you how to be an excellent recruiter. You will have the opportunity to learn through on-the-job-training provided by your supervisor and other recruitment staff, classroom, and virtual training, as well as assisting and participating in recruitment events. Your work will increase in scope and complexity as the training year progresses. You will be trained in sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill and critical vacancies, identifying and developing future talent pipelines, building relationships with high schools, colleges, universities, and community partners, developing recruitment plans, and communicating with hiring managers and other human resource professionals. Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- AWS (alternate work schedule) may be offered upon completion of the initial probationary period.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- A bachelor's degree, including 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Or Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:
- Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Dauphin, York, Cumberland, Perry, Lancaster, or Lebanon counties. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- The selected candidate for this position must undergo a fingerprint-based records check to be in compliance with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS).
