Warehouse Helper I

Position Summary: This position must have strong organizational skills, flexible schedule, and strong communication skills. Basic skills to be able to move, lift, restack case, boxes of products Follow and adherence to all Baldor SOPs, SQF, QC, QA and HACCP programs, procedures & policies. *Essential Job Functions: Must be able to walk and stand for long hours.Must be able to bend, lift, twist and climb.Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.Must be able to work in a cold environmentMust be able to operate a rider jackMust be presentable at all timesAbility to communicate clearlyMust be organized * Position Duties and Responsibilities: Report to Supervisor/Manager for assignment at start of day at start of shift for work assignmentsWalk assigned zone and level off any Prime facing pick casesEnsure Prime location is ready for Fulfillment Selectors these must be leveled off and any cases damaged place in the REC HUB area report to managementSalvage. Re-box or rework items in the locationsReport any unsafe conditions to Manager or SupervisorWhile leveling products ensure that proper rotation is not broken check dates and follow FIFOUse proper ladder staircase for B level or higher items that are too far to reach, do not use anything else to climb to reach itemsOff load trucks ( internal and external)Apply labels as directed to incoming productsAvoid product damage while loading or off loading, re-stocking and pickingQC product sorter and cleanerBox MakingMaintain clean work environment in order to ensure compliance with safety regulationsKeep all assigned equipment free of damages (report damages or accidents immediately)Observe warehouse safety rules while operating power industrial truckAssist warehouse in special projects set by Manager or SupervisorFollow all GMPs and food safety regulationsFollow all safety regulationsAdhere to, follow all company polices, SOPs, SQF, HACCP and GMP plans, programs, procedures and policies business needs may necessitate functions / duties not included on this list Qualifications: Education: High School degree or equivalent, or can substitute years of experience for education.
