Van Driver

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.

In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.

**Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 11:00am.**

Van Drivers are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:

• Picks up patients that are enrolled in the day program and returns them home at the end of the day.
• Transports patients home post discharge and transports patients to medical appointments, court, etc. as necessary.

What Does LBHH Require for this Role?

• Licensure: Must have a valid PA Drivers License. No DUI/DWI in the past seven (7) years. No more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience: One (1) or more years of prior transport experience preferred. Previous experience working with behavioral health population strongly preferred. Must demonstrate ability to drive 15+ passenger vehicle.
• Ability to work 7:00am to 11:00am
