QA Technician (2nd Shift)
Description
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure the highest standards in our manufacturing process. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality products, we'd love to hear from you!
2nd Shift, 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $17.50
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Regular Quality Checks: Perform at least two checks per production machine each shift, assessing measurements, seal integrity, hot melt application, and overall product appearance.

Lead Production Line Inspections: Assist with first-off inspections to ensure each production line is ready to go at the start of every shift.

Finished Product Audits: Perform thorough audits on finished products at least once per shift to ensure quality standards are met.

Non-Conformance Tracking: Document any nonconforming materials and help manage quarantine procedures, including inventory transactions.

Data Entry: Accurately enter quality data into various systems and track product quality throughout production.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain high standards and resolve any issues quickly.

Flexible Work Schedule: Must be willing to work overtime when needed, sometimes with short notice.

Qualifications:
-
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required. We'll provide training to help you succeed!

Skills:Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
-
Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
-
Comfortable using hand-held devices and tablets for data entry.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong problem-solving and safety awareness skills.
-
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
-
Regular walking and standing; occasional sitting, stooping, bending, and twisting.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs regularly.

Clear vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, required for quality control tasks.

Noise and Temperature: Hearing protection is required due to high noise levels. You may experience exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season and area of the plant.
