The Opportunity

QVC US is seeking a visionary Director, Applications Development – Supply Chain Systems to lead the transformation and ongoing enhancement of our supply chain technology platforms. In this pivotal role, you will shape the strategic direction of our global supply chain systems, ensuring alignment with both business and IT strategies. As a leader of leaders, you will inspire and develop a high-performing team, drive innovation, and deliver scalable solutions that support QVC's mission to delight customers and create the future of retail.

This role will report directly to the VP IT Applications Development • Digital Experience, and will work out of our corporate office in West Chester, PA. This is a hybrid role.

Your Impact

• Strategic Leadership: Formulate and lead the technology roadmap for global supply chain systems, ensuring alignment with QVC's business and IT strategies.
• Thought Leadership: Provide technical and functional direction, championing innovation and best practices in supply chain technology.
• Team Development: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of growth, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
• Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, product management, and technology leaders to evaluate and implement new solutions.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure quality, compliance, and fiscal responsibility across all supply chain application initiatives.
• Vendor Management: Oversee external consulting resources and system integrators, ensuring successful delivery and support of key projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and streamline core technology processes, driving greater value and operational efficiency.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience implementing and supporting supply chain applications, with at least 4–6 years in a leadership role managing large-scale, cross-functional IT initiatives.
• Proven ability to translate business strategies into effective IT investment portfolios.
• Experience managing complex application portfolios, including both COTS and custom-built solutions.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain applications, business processes, and best practices in a business-to-consumer environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor management and working with system integrators/consulting teams.
• Experience in agile software development environments and with global/offshore teams preferred.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Commitment to quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
