Kiddie Academy is a childcare facility in Wexford, Pennsylvania. Our curriculum is focused on education-based childcare and our teachers excel in caring, nurturing and teaching children in our eleven age-appropriate classrooms from infants, school age to before and after school care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Highly professional and dependable
• Applicant must have an associates or a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a Human Services related field or a minimum of 15 credits in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum of 2 years documented experience working with young children.
• NSOR clearance
• Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility a plus

Essential Functions

• Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings, as requested.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities.
• Counsels' children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise.
• Implements classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule.
• Assists children with mealtimes and clean-up.
• Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children.
